The Ultimate Fanny
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This hip bag has the best utility out of any I have personally gotten my hands on. Between the amount of storage, the supportive hip pads, the pull out mesh pocket (for jacket/extra water/whatever), adjustability w/ straps and incredible comfort for a larger hip bag, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG. The buckle on the strap sits to one side so you don't have a buckle pressing into your stomach. Plenty of padding and fits ergonomically to your back and hip bones. You can fit a 3L water bladder in here, but between putting tools, phone, etc. going beyond 2L isn't really possible. I'd recommend a smaller bladder like this guy... https://www.backcountry.com/osprey-packs-hydraulics-lumbar-1.5l-reservoir?skid=OSP00DB-RD-ONESIZ&ti=U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM6cmVzZXJ2b2lyOjE6OTpyZXNlcnZvaXI=

Very comfortable
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
took it out for a ride the day I got it and was happy with the look and feel of the pack but was disappointed it did not come with the bladder. Easy to adjust and well made, you forget you have it on wile riding.
