100% wool, great fabric weight for base layer or stand alone. Not ultra thin but works well in hot or cold weather. I’m 6’2” and 175 lbs. size 42 spot coat and the medium fits like it was custom tailored for me. Another nice touch is the tag in the collar area. Doesn’t rub at all. 10/10 would recommend for a 100% wool tee.

I like Merino wool shirts and have several. This is my second Icebreaker t-shirt. I like the fabric but the sizing runs large. I ordered a Medium because the size chart says that is the size for a chest measurement of 36-39 inches. My chest is 40 inches, and the shirt has a very "relaxed" fit. I'm going to try a small and exchange for it if it fits better. If they are going to make their shirts on the "fits large" side, they should adjust the size recommendation chart to reflect the reality of the sizing. Very frustrating!

Good tech for 2023

Nice Product but Sizing is Off

I first purchased their products in 2004 and have have been loyal to the brand ever since. The quality is always great, However, I ordered two of these in XL, different colors. When comparing their sizes, one was at least two inches wider than the other. Not sure how they do their quality control, but it could obviously be tuned up a notch.

Soft, not scratchy

Nice quality merino tee

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is the first merino T-Shirt I've purchased and I'm impressed so far. The sizing was a little larger than I'm used too, usually I buy size large in most brands and even in other icebreaker shirts, but the large in this shirt was too baggy for me. Other than that the medium is a much better fit and the quality of the shirt is great. I'm excited to try it while traveling as I've heard of the wonders of merino clothing for odour control.

Best t-shirt ever made!

So good I bought a second one! Hiked the North Coast Trail on Vancouver Island last summer with my first one. Best t-shirt ever!!
