A better way to insulate.
The Icebreaker Men's Stratus MerinoLoft Jacket keeps you warm with wool insulation. Wool works well as an insulating layer due to its natural ability to manage moisture and regulate body temperature. Its all-recycled polyester fabric is water-resistant, so the jacket can be worn on its own too. Wear it layered under a shell on a cold and snowy ski day, or on its own while you hike during the colder months; either way, you'll stay warm, dry, and ready for more adventures thanks to its merino wool insulation.

- Q & A
odd collar- great jacket
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: True to size
I saw this jacket in a local store but it had the hood which I did not really want. i found this jacket on-line and ordered it. when it arrived the collar is odd. it looks great when it is zipped up like in the picture - but if you go half zip the collar gets stuck between standing up and falling down and looks odd. when it is completely down it still looks odd. so great jacket but i passed on this one and returned it. too bad because otherwise the jacket is a 10 out of 10. i ended up buying the icebreaker stealth/stealth - no odd collar problems - but this is a much lighter jacket which I knew - i actually wanted to buy both of them since i live in socal and the temperature varies.
I wear size L of all Icebreaker base layers, including Anatomica fit. They're not tight but too baggy either. I think they're maybe half a size larger but there's no size in between M & L, so I went with L.
For this Stratus jacket, should I go with Medium or Large? Normally most jackets tend to fit baggier than base layers because they're designed to be worn on top of other layers, so I'm wondering if Large size of this jacket might be too large for me.
Any advice appreciated. Thanks!
