Initial thoughts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I prefer the early versions which are 100% merino. These are still comfortable and have a stretchiness to them. Have yet to use on the trail. Hope someday 100% merino will be back.

I Found My Forever Sock
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 years ago, I went on a mission to find the perfect sock, purchasing many different brands and styles. over a full year of trial and error i found these the perfect Sock from icebreaker. So, I bought 10 pairs of the Hike+ Lightweight sock, 5 pairs of the Medium, and 5 pairs of the heavy weight sock. I ended up wearing the lightweight socks almost all year long, only switching to the thicker socks during the coldest part of the year. and with that the lightweight socks lasted about 2 years before developing holes at the big toe, but that may be due to an ill-fitting pair of boots. I can't say enough good things about these socks, they keep foot odder and blisters away after hiking all day. and keep my feet warm in the winter. the Fit is perfect and there are no seems or stitching that rub. Get yourself a pair and give them a try, you will not regret it.
