Very comfortable but...
It's not woven correctly I think, since it got rips from the moment I wore it. The outer layer is too fragile for such a costly product

Super warm
This is a great hood jacket, super warm and cosy. It is almost perfect. The only one detail, it is that unlike the previous or similar versions with real fleece, this one is a bit more “fragile”. The fibres of the fabric pull easily, unlike other similar jackets I have from previous years. The material is the same but I don't know if the fabric pattern has anything to do with it. This version is more delicate than the previous ones.

My new grab and go layer.
This hoodie is snug, warm, lightweight and the colour is beautiful. It looks good dressed up with a pair of white jeans and is great when heading off camping, boating or travelling. It is not bulky and fits beautifully. I love it.

My most worn item of clothing
I call this jacket a “hook”….it is the reason why I have become such a loyal customer to icebreaker…well..that’s a lie…there are a few other pieces that contributed as well…such as last year’s Goldwin collection. Anyway - the point is that I don’t leave home without this jacket. This is a staple in piece in my closet. I’m a dentist and I wear this to work EVERY single day over my scrubs. (I’m waiting for icebreaker to make some scurbs…hint hint). I wear this jacket on the plane. I wear this jacket under other jackets. This jacket is timeless and extremely cozy. I am truly not exaggerating when I say I take this jacket everywhere. Thanks to this jacket, all of my other jackets are pretty much obsolete. This is hands down the most functional item in my closet….and I have a lot to clothes! It is nearly 100% merino and after many washes and many wears, the fabric is starting to do some wonky things…it’s almost as if someone scratched it with long nails….it’s hard to explain and frankly I don’t care to because I don’t want to deter anyone from buying this jacket. Just buy it. It’s worth it. Icebreaker, please take my money!!!!

Love it, but it pills almost immediately
A lovely cosy jacket. I love that the zip comes up so high which makes it a warm jacket. Unfortunately the fabric started to pill within a week of purchasing (this was with casual use; not, for example, carrying firewood or something that would rub against it). It also looks like a hole is starting to develop after a month.

Cozy and stylish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second one of these zip up hoodies. Loved the first one which was in a pattern that I also bought it in plain black this time. I like the charcoal grey trim! So warm and perfect to get me through the long cold winters in Canberra.
