warm and cozy base layer
I purchased this as a 3-season base layer for sleeping & hiking on backcountry camping trips. I just got back from testing it on a 6-night trip in spring conditions (damp, 5 to 15 C) and it was perfect. The fabric was scratchy at first but after one wash & wear it was soft and cozy -- I really looked forward to putting it on at night! I also wore it under a fleece during a dog walk and it really cut the wind. My only criticism is that I did find it held odors more than I expected but after six days in the woods, what piece of clothing doesn't?! I'm 5'5" 130-135lbs and I ordered a Medium following Icebreaker's sizing guide, but the fabric stretches out and I definitely could have gone with a Small.

Warm and comfortable thermal pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are warm and comfortable long underwear pants that I purchased for cold days skiing. They were perfect for the last gasp of winter and kept me toasty. I should have bought 2 pairs - these will be my go to on chillier mornings.

Completed Set!
Bought this for my better half to complete the outfit with her matching crew. I never hesitate with I.C. because of the consistent quality and great designs. Beautiful warmth for the winter cold and breathes and wicks so well you can use it for any activity and still feel dry and warm! Love I.B.!

Love the pattern, would prefer a higher waist.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) These are warm enough for downhill skiing on a cold day. However the ankles are a bit loose and can bunch in my ski boot if I'm not careful. The waist band would be more comfortable if it was thicker and they fit low waisted. Overall good quality wool and super fun to wear with the matching thermal top in the same design.
