I bought these for the Camino de Santiago (only 2 miles total though) and they didn't disappoint. Mostly urban trekking and they do have some slippage on wet metal, but my feet bounced back after a long day.

Best Trail ShoesEver

Most comfortable shoes I've ever purchasef. Wish I could afford 10 pair. Would love to see a court shoe (Pickleball) .

Speedgoat 4 Wide was a better shoe for a wide forefoot

I happily bought the SG 5 in Wide on sale but unfortunately this shoe is significantly tighter in the toebox than the SG 4 and while my heel slips out the back of the shoe. I buy Hokas because I have a very wide forefoot. I hope the SG 6 will be more similar to the SG 4 version with a wider toebox and a better fitting heel. I love the grip of the SG's and the Vibram sole. The SG4 was a great fit for my small, wide feet. I hope to find another Hoka to take its place.

Hoka Speedgoat

This is my second pair of Hoka Speedgoats. They are perfect for hiking as they have nubs on the bottom that grip the terrain when we hike. I also volunteer in a warehouse and they work great for standing on concrete for hours. I am sure I will be back for another pair. I also have a pair that is meant for more walking. Not sure of the type as they were a gift. Love those too.

I wish I liked them more, but I dont

Overall, it's a well built shoe. Originally I was having issues with my heel popping out, this was quickly fixed by utilizing the heel lock lacing method. I love the low profile tongue and the larger rear lip doesn't get in the way like you think it will. I started having fun in them. My issue came with longer miles. I could feel "wear" on my foot in areas I've never felt before. One day I did 25 miles and my feet felt raw in those same places. Luckily I had no blisters. I'll cut them some slack that day, as my feet stayed wet for almost the entirety of the day. I still run in them on shorter mile days and want to love them. I admire their heritage, I mean.... They are named after Meltzer after all. However, next time I'll be purchasing another pair Challengers because I dont have these issues. Every shoe, isn't for everyone. Unfortunately, they just aren't for me.

Well worth it!

I simply was so excited in my first purchase of HOKA running shoes/sneakers. I must admit they are extremely comfy, a bit on the pricy side however no regrets. I will say l do have my eyes set on another pair. Go ahead treat yourself if not you then who will. I am waiting for an important gentleman in my life to return from over seas so we can purchased matching HOKA's ENJOY

The HOKA Speedgoat 5 is my second pair of sneakers

Those are the only sneakers I can wear to work. I'm on my feet all day for 12-13 hours. These shoes have so much cushions that I feel I am walking on sponges. The best for my knees and feet. No more pain.

Love Speedgoats

This is my 4th or 5th pair of Speedgoats 5s...I absolutely love how they feel for trail running, especially in mud and snow. I don't like that the uppers crack in the exact same places after a few months though. I run about 30 miles per week and have to replace them about every 4 months due to holes in the upper fabric. I'm hoping the Speedgoats 6s are sturdier!

The GOAT!

Speed Goat is a phenomenal shoe with stability, grip comfort & my one and only select. Colorways are fresh & have been terrific over the past few years with sizing right-on & consistent so am able to order online without hesitation. Unable to select only one use since I wear for walking on oftentimes uneven terrain, as well as for the support & stability factor due to an upcoming knee replacement.

Shoe color is dull compared to the pic online.

I purchased the speedgoat 5 sneakers because of the vibrant colors displayed in the online pic. When I got the shoes, the colors are actually dull and look nothing like the online picture. I wish I could upload a pic of the shoe I received for comparison.
