The Haglöfs Women's L.I.M Touring Proof Pant is a backcountry-specific ski pant built to pack small, weigh less, and provide the utmost waterproofing and breathable comfort. Its Proof membrane boasts high waterproof, breathable ratings, and it's also windproof to cut back the brisk chills that leave you shivering on the skin track. Haglöfs made this pant out of durable Cordura with a four-way stretch for freedom of movement. If you're sweating on the skin track, then this pant's side zippers open up for sufficient ventilation. There are hook-and-loop adjustments at the waist for a secure fit, and bottom leg zippers make it easy to access the internal boot gaiters for solid coverage from the snow.

I only tried these pants several times at home, so I might come back and update my review in winter after I wear them a few times in different conditions. The hibiscus color is really cute and the fit is quite flattering. The fabric might seem thin but it's technical gear that is designed to be lightweight yet seems like it might perform quite well in various conditions while backcountry / cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, or any activity where one moves and might appreciate lighter and breathable gear. I think that with a thin layer of long underwear they will be perfect. Just one warning: The size table says that the size S goes up to 29.5 inch in the waist and 37 inch in the hips. This is definitely wrong. My waist is currently 27 in, my hips are 35-36 in. The pants fit, but they are on the tighter side and if I gained any weight, they might be too small.
