The Miwok 24 Backpack is one of the cleanest packs around, and even though Gregory designed it for rugged hiking, peak bagging, and mountain biking, it won't be out of sorts if you take it into town for a different kind of business. Designed to mimic the way flexible tendons and solid bones work in your body, Gregory's BioSync suspension system reacts to your every move with flexible connectors that join the shoulder straps to the waist belt and back frame, giving the Miwok unprecedented movement and flexibility. Padded mesh makes the shoulder straps, waist belt, and back panel highly breathable, too, for comfort during strenuous activity.
Gregory equipped the Miwok with a hydration sleeve for your own reservoir and a tube clip at the shoulder strap to stop the hose from flopping around and the soft-touch front pocket is perfect for electronics. Side pockets hold water bottles, an internal zippered pocket keeps your keys safe, and two zippered compartments on the hip belt keep smaller items handy. Stow your sunglasses quickly and easily on the shoulder harness without having to take the pack off and stash your extra layers in the durable front mesh pocket for easy access when the conditions change.

Miwok 19 and 24 backpacks are great!
Perfect for longer hikes when I need more available space than my Miwok 18 backpack provides.

Excellent Pack
This pack is super comfortable and carry’s weight well. It’s a great day bag with the family as well as a training pack. I can’t recommend it enough!

Could be great, but pretty average
Sturdy, well constructed, very comfortable typical Gregory in my experience. The layout of the pack is not well thought out. I don’t know anyone who keeps their phone or sensitive electronics in the top pouch. Apparently someone does because that’s where it is on this lack. The hydration hanger is proprietary to Gregory and that’s annoying. There is a very thin loop that I can sort of hang my HydraPak but sometimes it does slip off. The side pouches are too small and rough inside to keep a smartphone (unless it’s a mini version or something) The trekking pole loops are quite small. Two of my sets barely fit. The hydration sleeve is on the exterior which is great — I don’t like going into the main compartment to mess with it. However there’s a ton of wasted space. The bottom half could have been bridged to create a whole new pouch at the bottom of the pack. There’s no good place for a first aid kit. The inside top mesh pocket is very small. It has a key loop and you can maybe fit a few tiny items. The large main compartment is no frills. Which is fine if you like to lump everything together or use many pouches to organize. Comfortable and well-constructed but I rate it low in the functionality department.

Sturdy bag
This bag has come with me on a couple of alpine adventures and I am in love with its comfortability and sturdiness. I have run into rocks with my back and the bag holds up through all of the wear and tear.

Awesome pack!
Love this pack!!! So many options. Stays well on your back, comfy and waist pockets are big enough for my cameras....go pro on one side and Sony ZV1 on the other (if people wants to know the size). You have plenty of space in the bag to stuff all your dayhike gear (possible one night) if you have compact gear. The reservoir pocket is great too. Love it.

So far - so good!!
Overall, solid day pack...would have given 5 stars, but would like a slightly bigger front pocket. The front stretch stuff panel is great, the main compartment and bladder compartment, ditto. The front lined zip pocket is nice, perfect for small, heavily needed items, but could be a touch bigger. Maybe just personal preference. Overall - after several weekend camping trips and shorter hikes - all is good. Looking forward to using to fastpack a longer trip.

Great hiking pack
I love the adjustability of this pack so my boyfriend and I can switch off wearing it and are both comfortable. It's lightweight yet fits a lot and has several smaller compartments that are great for stuff you want to access quickly. I also love the bright blue color.

Hi, I recently bought a Miwok 24 that I am loving. However, a dumb question. On the left shoulder strap, there is a little piece of rubber attached to an elastic cord. What is that for? I haven't been able to figure it out! :)
