i call it "bucket of water"
it will be with me if i'm on a trip with watersource anywhere from 5ft. away to 1mile away. great gear.. tough..stands up perfect..folds up perfect..weighs nothing...affordable...pourable...dipable into water source....dries well with the hook on bottom to hang up... (bucket is beside and behind me in the picture..)
Tough
For communal camping trips, it was great to know you had a hanging bag of clean filtered water around for the night and for coffee in the morning. We used this a lot on car camping trips and it made things much easier and so much more relaxing by not having to go to the water source every couple hours. Tough straps can hang on anything, sturdy enough to be full and stand alone. It's like a packable bucket. Great idea, GG.
Granite Gear Water Bucket - 2 Gallons
Well, I thought I'd already sent in a review (gee, I was so erudite!). I've had a ton of "buckets" over the years and this one's the best. It weighs almost nothing. You can squish into the smallest corner. It carries a whole lotta water easily without a single splash. AND it stays upright when you're washing your dishes or whatever. Dries out easily (you can hang it up when you don't need it). And hey, and I like the look of it too. Worth the extra couple a bucks!
Granite Gear Water Bucket
This bucket worked incredibly well for me. It weighs almost nothing and I could stash it in the smallest space possible. It amply carried water for me with no drips or splashes and easily stayed upright when I needed it for dish washing. I have used any number of water carriers before. This is the best. It was perfect.
So how small does it pack down to? Does...
So how small does it pack down to? Does it fold up? or just squish?
