Keeping you with a direct line to civilization and informed with what’s around the next bend, the Montana is a satellite communicator providing a stellar amount of navigational information and even picks up cell phone tower signals for weather updates.

Through a vibrant touchscreen, visible in direct sunlight, the Montana displays turn-by-turn city map navigation on your way towards adventure. It then switches over to any of your preloaded topographical maps of the US. Once you’re at the trailhead, punch into the weather update while you still have cell connection, and then select your route from up to 250 preloaded options. Waypoints and point-to-point navigation keep you tracking true, but if you come across opportunities for side-quests, the Montana displays public land boundaries and can keep connected contacts up-to-date with a live-tracking feature.

Once you’ve reached your destination, send a text message or post to your favorite social platform, or check in on your other trail mates with their own Montana 700i. Emergency communication is available with an SOS message sent to a 24/7 monitoring center responding to any distress during your journey. Messaging is relayed via satellites instead of cell-phone towers for more reliable and confident communication signals. A subscription is required to use satellite communication features.
