Heavy duty knee pads are great if you're wanting outright protection for downhill laps and days at the bike park. But when you're ripping around at your local trails or heading out for big days in the mountains, you can't have uncomfortable or bulky pads holding you back, especially if you're ride involves plenty of pedaling. The G-Form Pro-X2 Knee Pads are soft, lightweight, and flexible knee pads that give you total comfort on any ride while offering advanced protection thanks to G-Form's RPT technology that hardens upon impact. This means you'll have the coverage you need for unexpected spills and tumbles, but the rest of time you'll barely notice they're on.

Just replaced my original G-form pro-x knee pads. This updated version (pro-x2) is really awesome. The pad is bigger/longer than the original pro-x version, and in a good way. The added length makes them sit really well on the leg/knee. They really are so comfortable and offer plenty of protection but can do long rides in. I usually wear a medium in everything but with these I have to wear a large (I have relatively skinny legs). I think if you?re a bigger guy you will need xl. Earlier this year I tried a different pair of knee pads with a Velcro strap and even though they were $100 pads that seemed fancy, they dug into my leg and I couldn?t stand them. My original pair of these wasn?t the most durable but still has lasted me 3 seasons which is pretty decent and they will still serve as an extra/backup pair. These are at a great price point as well, in my opinion.

I am so glad that I have these protectors! last night I fell hard on my right knee and nothing happened. They are quite tight, i'm right in the line between a medium and a large, my thigh is 17 inches and stayed with the medium, because the pad on the large one was too big for me. They stay in place, they are super comfortable, I forget that i have them on while riding. I hope this helps!

These pads are extremely comfy and you forget they are there while you are riding. These pads have nailed the comfort 10000%. I am just wondering how the foam will hold up after a crash, or contact with a tree, pedal etc.. I am hoping that the foam will not tear or rip. Time will tell. I had to size up because I was in between sizes L/XL. I am 5'11 and 190lbs. pretty avg size guy, but I still had to order an XL. So far there has been absolutely no problem with sliding down or any such issues. Would highly recommend if you value comfort/Flexibility and you don't intend to leave the ground much.
