I used the G-form Pro-X shirt for years and loved nearly everything about it. My only complaint was it was hard to remove and I tore the seams and had to sew it. When I saw the MX360 I loved the idea of the zipper, but wasnt sure about the padding, but wanted to give it a try even though it was crazy expensive. Upon receiving it is easy to see that 50% of the cost goes into the removable spine protector. it is really thick and massive, and pretty useless for most mountain biking short of DH riding. I actually use it as a seat cushion for sporting events. With the spine protector removed that leaves shoulder pads and chest pads. The chest pads might be great "roost" protection when riding motos, but its pretty useless for MTB. The shoulder pads also feel smaller that the ones on the Pro-x shirt, and unlike the Pro-x shirt, there is no rib protection. This is a major fail for MTB riding. it also feels much warmer than the old shirt. The only thing I like about this shirt is the zipper. As is, the MX360 is horrible for MTB protection and seems to be geared toward Moto riding. I'll try to find an old stock Pro-X shirt or switch brands. If g-form wants me business then they need to focus on shoulders, ribs and breathability and forget the other stuff.
