These were my main riding shorts for a little less than a year, but I used a couple other shorts depending on the type of ride. I would guess I put about 2,200 miles in these shorts and most miles were easy coastal training miles. At least 300 miles were single track. The zipper pull tab broke at about the 9 month mark. I have no idea how it happened. I decided to just tie some wax string to it and make it work. About 2 1/2 months later the entire zipper broke. I didn't really mind the ventilation hole damage, but when using flats I seemed to catch the flats on the pedals pins a few times which led to ripping that part of the shorts. I purchased these shorts assuming the money was worth it, but the shorts just weren't as durable as I expected. I don't know if it was a fluke or if that's just how these shorts are made by Fox.

I wear a 32 waist. They are a great fit everywhere but my waist... :( The quality is great and they look sharp, wish they fit. If you are usually a 31 they would probably be perfect.
