    Down that stays dry.

FlyLow Gear blends waterproof protection with lofty down insulation in its Jody Down Jacket. A fully taped Intuitive shell gives the Jody durable waterproofing while still remaining highly breathable, and 600-fill European goose down brings the warmth without the weight. YKK waterproof zippers enhance the Jody's waterproofing in ways that most ski jackets don't. The Jody also features a removable powder skirt for casual days this winter.

    Great jacket

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 160lbs

I'm 6'1" with broad shoulders. Loved this jacket – great quality, cut long, sleeves were long enough. I had to return it though because it was too tight through the shoulders.

    Awesome jacket

    • Fit: True to size

I love that Flylow seems to really have performance and women in mind when they design. I had bought and returned the North Face Point It Down jacket (the fit on this is LOVELY, btw, but I wanted something that would stand up to moisture a bit better) and I think I've found a winner! Awesome fit, lots of pockets and vents. I wish this one had the set up for music the way their other jacket does, but it's a small detail. Very happy, keeping! I'm 5'8" and 150 lbs, usually wear a size 6/small (sometimes medium) on top. Bought a medium, it's perfect. Nice long arms.

    Favorite Puffy

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I love love love this jacket! I love it so much that I have a hard time not wearing it when it's warm out. It holds up really well in cold weather but the jacket isn't too bulky at all. I get compliments on the jacket all the time from guys and gals. The beet color is like a muted pinkish-red and looks really cool with the daisy pant in the space colorway. Both colors are awesome, I wish I had it in the heather space color too. It has the right amount of pockets including the one on your arm to put your ski pass in.

I wore this in a size medium but I believe a size small would have fit better on me (I'm 5'5" and 125 lbs).

Does the zipper placket have Velcro, snaps, or nothing?

Also, I am 5'9" and have seriously long arms. Is this built for the shorter crowd (such as the Masala) or the taller crowd?

Would this jacket be too warm for 20-35 degree ski days?

    Hey Kelan S,

This jacket should be plenty warm for ski days around 20-35 degrees F. In fact it should be warm in temps below those, possibly down to around 10 degrees F with just light layers under it.
