I wanted to love this

I absolutely love the way this backpack looks. I'm a professor and I need a backpack that is still professional looking. I have a few big issues with this pack though, and I think I'll be looking for something that better suits my needs. 1. the wool, while cute and durable, is not soft. I often wear sleeveless tops, and I find the wool to be a bit scratchy on my shoulders. I should clarify that I knit with wool all the time and don't have an issue with wool in general. 2. It's not deep enough. The height is perfect for my large laptop (15" with a case), but once I get that in my pack there's not a lot of space left. 3. There's only one interior pocket. I have had to get a separate pencil case because the pocket is small and I have way too many items that don't have a place in the bottom of this bag. I do like the small pocket that is there, but there should have been another medium sized one too.

Lovely - quiet and understated - but unique and beautiful.

I have received my beautiful bag only a few days ago, so I cannot speak of the longevity of it, but I can say that every tiny detail on this bag was carefully considered and nothing was left to chance. The love and care with which it was created is evident. The wool feels so pleasant - and the small leather accents are placed only where a sturdy materials was required. The padding in the laptop pocket is thin but dense - which means that your computer is protected without bulky padding taking up space in your bag. There's a small but useful zipped pocket too, for anything from keys to ID, and a flat pocket for a notebook. I know that there aren't a lot of reviews of this bag online - and that's a pity, because it's a beautiful bag, and I am so incredibly excited to have mine. Thank you Fjallraven for creating such a wonderful, special piece of personal luxury!

grey wool + leather = timeless style

The details and quality of this pack make it a unique everyday option. Commute with style as this pack is easy to use, easy to keep clean and fits much more than I had expected. Comfortable carry even with decent weight in the pack. Notable features: reinforced on the bottom with canvas, interior sleeves and pocket. Wish it would've come with a seat pad!
