Vento Microtex Tacky Bar Tape

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

First, this tape looks pretty nice because it is shiny and has some contrast but due to the lines and stiff material, it can be tricky getting it to look perfect. Cork is somewhat more forgiving and softer. This material is relatively stiff and can be pretty hard to wrap just right with the folds creating gaps if you're not using just the right technique. The thin nature of this tape could lead to it "rolling up" on the edges if you don't get your edges tight and even so it was a bit tricky wrapping it without too much overlap and having it run the full length of my track bar. The tape is pretty tacky and reminds me of tennis grip tape. I wouldn't run this on a gravel bike as it probably won't last very long due to the thin and delicate nature of the material.
