Great rod great value
I took a Aetos 3wt 6' rod out this week end with a Sage LL and Winston WT 3wt. While it didn't fish like those two rods it performed well even throwing the leader and tippet at close range well. Does good with roll casting. All with use of a Adams #20. It will be used on small Rocky mountain streams that have a lot of growth on the sides. But i might sneak it out on bigger streams for fun

7 Weight
I have the 7'0" 3 weight and 9'0" 7 weights and found them to be excellent values and solid performers. The 3 weight is a great small water rod for close casting. The medium-fast blank is very thin and the rod feels super lightweight in hand. The 7 weight's faster action is very capable at casting streamers in the wind and doesn't have a heavy swing weight. I didn't feel any need to over-line the rod at all. The cork and components seem decent enough and work just fine. Very satisfying rods for the money.
