    Candide 2.0 Ski

Set yourself up for all-mountain freestyle control from the park to the pow with the Faction Candid 2.0 Ski. This 102mm waisted ski is built to thrive on the feet of the modern freestyle rider who loves to do it all thanks to the rocker-camber-rocker profile, symmetrical shape, and durable construction.

The rocker-camber-rocker profile features a small amount of camber from contact point to contact point and rocker out to the tips and tails. This combination blends the powerful edge hold and pop or camber with the float and forgiveness of rocker while also cutting down on swing weight so that you can set and stomp big tricks in any snow conditions.

Working with this versatile profile the symmetrical shape ensures that switch takeoffs and landings feel the same as forward ones for ultimate confidence in learning new tricks or taking old tricks to new areas of the mountain. Finally a full wood core, durable p-tex base, and chip-proof topsheet ensure that these sticks will hold up to season after season of hard charging.

    Great Ski!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These skis are as great as advertised. The 102 underfoot is such a great width for a do it all ski, and they truly crush it all! I have been stoked on how sturdy they are and how well they have performed.

    Super Playful

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These skis know what they like to do, and only want to do that. I'd say they aren't a "driver" ski in the sense that they don't hold the strongest edge on carves, and things start to feel a bit nervous at speed. But that isn't what they're meant for. Once you get these skis on some more playful terrain, they excel. They were a ton of fun on jumps and kickers and were really easy to ride switch on. They're super forgiving and won't bite you if you don't ski perfectly or land jumps just right. I found tree runs to also be a lot of fun in these as well. I'd say they're definitely squirrely, but a ton of fun if used in the right terrain. Not a big mountain crusher, more of the ultimate jibby ski.

    Better than I expected

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Took these out for a demo at Snowbird one day and didn't really expect to like them since they're not really what I normally ride but was quickly impressed by them. The center mount was a new experience for me and took a few runs to get used to but I got comfortable with them really quickly. My current skis are only really fun when they're moving fast, but these have enough pop that I found I could ski slower and have just as much fun. They still perform when you're charging hard on them though, even when I brought them on some very steep and beat up runs. Overall I'd say they a super playful and fun daily driver.

    Sweeeeet sticks.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I haven't skied in 10 years, and I'm converting back from snowboarding after trying out these bad boys. It took me a minute to find my knees, and the center mount took a moment to get used to, but they've got a great weight and flex. I never felt choppy in them either.

A Unique ski that's a lot of fun

I used these for a day a Brighton Ski Resort, and I was pretty impressed. The Ski feels surprising nimble while still giving decent stability and float. The early rise in the tip starts sooner than most skis so they have a surprising amount of float for only having a 102mm waist. My favorite thing is how poppy and playful they are, These skis just want to be airborne.

      Have you seen Candide ski?

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've skied my whole life and will never be able to do what Candide does on snow. But when I have his skis on my feet, it's probably the closest I'll get. Talk about a fun and responsive ski. These things fly and dominate the slopes. Very impressive ski from an impressive skier

      Daily Driver

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This ski has a unique design, a stiffer nose and a softer tail make it very maneuverable, but a bit tricky to learn as most skis don't ride like these do. This would be a good ski for a stronger rider who wants to ski the full length of the ski and needs something that will be good in many different conditions.

These skis will be great for riders who want a looser ski with full edge contact and a backbone to handle any condition.

      The Best

The Candidie 2.0 was originally purchased as my park ski but quickly became my daily driver and was often what I took out unless there was more than a foot of new snow. I rode well over 200 days on this ski mounted true center and never found myself wishing the ski could do more. The ski is stiff and offers stability when riding big terrain or at high speeds. The rocker on this ski gives you float in the soft snow and tons of clearance when spinning on/off from/to rails, pillows , and cliffs. This ski is a durable charger and one of the best skis Iv been on in my life time of skiing.
