My Favorite Shoe
Just purchased my 4th pair of these. My go to shoe for the gym sport climbing and bouldering, multi-pitch trad, and moderate sport climbing. I have a few pairs of La Sportiva TC Pros and Miuras that I haven't touched since getting my first pair of Raves. They feel really secure for moccasins and I rarely feel like my heel is loose or liable to slip out - even with heel hooking. They're so comfortable I often just leave them on for my whole session, but I don't feel like I'm sacrificing performance for comfort at all... amazing! My street shoe is a 9 and I wear an 8.5 for this shoe.

These shoes are my daily wear for just about any use on the wall. I’ve done a small amount of crack climbing in them, works just fine (not perfect, a better option is definitely a lower profile, laced, shoe, like the Yosemite). They’re satisfactory for overhanging features, accept aggressive heal hooks! I only ever feel slippage when aggressively heel hooking, like a brutal mantle. Perfectly fine on slabs and for smearing. Fine edges are manageable down to about 1cm. Extremely comfortable. I’ve got a medium, normal, arch in my feet. I’m usually a size 9.5US men’s, but I’ve got these in 8.5US men’s for a bit more response (I typically recommend sizing down just a bit). 99% of the time I climb I’m wearing socks and have had no issues with the sizing. They’ve stretched a little but I can still wear them for hours at a time. They’re quite durable too! Indoor use is fantastic, outdoor use is great as well. I’ve recommended these to multiple friends and they absolutely love them. This shoe will always be in my bag and I hope that this quality and standard remains! Thanks Evolv!

LOVE
I got these thinking they'd just be a chill gym shoe- they've turned into my go to outdoor shoe and they haven't let me down on any edge or smear yet. I've worn these on several long outdoor sport multipitch routes and although I do need to take them off occasionally for belays, so did my friend with his [very famous double priced shoe]. I really like the heel tension although that's the part making me want to get my feet a rest. I've only done a few jams but they did fine. I do kind of wish I got 1/2 size up to wear more comfy with socks. I wouldn't say these stretched a lot but they noticeably became more comfy by the end of the first multipitch day. Don't stop making these! I promote these hard!

After Searching High And Low, I Found The Rave
It was a sad day when my Boreal Kryptos finally died, they were my go-to pair of shoes and I had bought several pairs. After searching for what was seriously a year, I landed on the Rave. They're a pretty neutral shoe, easy to break in and comfortable as all heck. So far these shoes have only been in the gym, but they seem like they'll do well out in the wild too. Stoked to find a new favorite shoe!

Comfort, durability and cheeto feet are in your future if you choose these shoes! I spend 24 hours straight in these and didn't feel the need to take them off once!

This has become my all around shoe. It's good for your typical boulder sesh, slab, and crack climbing. I went down half a size since these will stretch out a little, but right out of the box they were comfortable enough for multipitches and keeping them on while belaying. The rubber has lasted me a long time and the fabric has held up even after many crack sessions. Your feet will turn yellow the first couple times. The 5.10 moccasyms have too pointed of a toe for me and these were the perfect alternative.

These are amazing slippers. The Rave fits my my narrow foot perfectly where all of the other brands slippers do not fit me properly. I can wear them all day with no problem on varied styles of climbing and types of rock. The only thing I would say is a con is that the rubber is not as sticky as I would like, however it is not that big of a deal.

The sizing goes with street shoe sizing. I wear street US 11 and US 11 in these as well, I do not like to wear tight shoes as well, I prefer a shoe I can stay in for a long period of time at the gym or on multipitches and these were a perfect fit right out of the box, if you want them to be a bit ,ore snug, downsizing a half size would help out. I'm sure these will stretch they feel like they may. So comfy. Great for crack/slab climbing and bouldering. Your feet turn yellow after some sweaty sessions. I use these, TC pros and Butora Altura shoes as my go to outside and inside shoe now and its a perfect quiver for in and outside climbing!

Great slipper for general bouldering

I use these as my general climbing shoes - I boulder indoors and outdoors. I ordered my street shoe size; they were tight at first but not painful, and they loosened up slightly by the end of my first gym session (wore them for 2 straight hours). They're now comfortable and for my level, pretty versatile. The shoe is flat and the toe is pretty round, so I would probably switch them out for steep overhangs. They stain my feet slightly; not as obvious as red Moccs, but it's noticeable. I can't say how much they stretch as I've only worn them a handful of times. I have a slightly wider foot for women's shoes, and found these to be really comfortable. For size comparison, I wear EU 37.5 in Miuras, W 7.5 street shoe.

my 2nd toe is a bit longer than my big toe (i think its called greek feet), would these fit me well?

I wear the Supra in M6.5 & Shakra in W8. I'd say they're both a snug fit. Are the Raves sized similarly? My street shoe size is women's 6.5-7, so according to the size chart I should order 5.5 or 6, which is smaller than my other Evolv shoes...

Hello, I am currently a us size 10.5 and downsize my moccasyms to an 8.5. I’m looking for a similar tight bouldering fit but I am seeing mixed opinions on if you downsize 1 or 1.5 sizes. Any advice?

The leather bleeds an orangey/yellow on my foot when I wear them, is there a recommended approach to stop this? For reference, I'm on my second pair and the previous pair did not stop bleeding before they needed a re-sole

Curious as to the recommendation for sizing? Half size, or full size down (or more??) from typically street shoe?
