Best pad on the market
Love this pad. I’ve sent a lot of taller boulder problems I would have been too scared to project without the protection a monster pad like this offers. Very comfortable to carry and love the support I get from the straps. The only downside is it doesn’t fit in my sedan, so it’s for those days I’m able to take the van out climbing. Otherwise. If you have the ability to transport it, this is the pad you want around when climbing hard!

This is a sick pad. I’ve fallen hard on it from my 10 foot home wall with just the pad between me and concrete slab. It’s a good density for cushioning the fall but also not bouncy or wobbly.

Great Pad
This pad is super light for its size, only issue is you need a big car or truck to carry this pad to crags, for me I can only take one other person in my car if I’m taking this pad.

Exactly what you think
It’s a high density foam trifold pad that we nicknamed the monster (because it’s huge). The designers at evolv really paid attention to detail with this pad. The cover is durable, the straps are long enough to add in another pad or blubber, there is Velcro in the crevices between each individual pad to reduce the possibility of falling through. Overall a gym in the form of a backpack.

2-3 crash pad in one
This crash pad is HUGE (I think it is the biggest on the market). You can easily replace 2-3 crash pad only with this one. However, compared to what I expected, it doesn't feel to heavy when you carry it if you are a good hiker (I walk with it about 20 min to go to my local crag and I could do more). On the other hand, the huge size can make it hard to go out of the trail. An other good feature is the triple foam layer that make it really smooth when you take high fall (but a but hard if you feel on your back). Also, the light color make it rapidly dirty, but you can wash it easily with just water and a brush. I got mine at the beginning of the season and after 4-5 session, I am really convinced and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a oversized crash pad.

Are the backpack straps detachable? As in, can it lay flat on a floor for a home gym?

Can anyone confirm if these pads have a function to attach themselves to each other? Like the standard velcro flaps you see on other pads?
