Bike commute & have used this jacket in weather ranging from below freezing mid 20?s to pouring rain 40-50* temps and this is the best cycling jacket I?ve ever used. I run hot and this + Marino base layer works down to 45*, below that add a thin sweater and you?re good to go. This jacket shines in the rain. It?s as waterproof as any hard shell I?ve used and breathes better too. By the time it wets through youd be drenched in sweat in a hard shell anyway but stays warm even when wet. The collar at the next is soft and helps to hold heat in with zipper up all the way but lets the heat out if you unzip a few inches in the front. As another plus it is long enough in the back to tuck a hip pack under the jacket to keep your hip pack dry which is really quite nice. The front chest pocket is generous enough to fit an iPhone pro max with room to spare! The pit zips are quite long and dump a lot of heat & zipper stiff enough even that you can unzip pits one handed without having to stop. Also use this jacket for mtb and it has excellent abrasion resistance. Honestly could not possibly give enough praise for this jacket. It?s perfect for truly miserable weather if you?re riding in bad conditions year round. Runs very very small. I?m 5?10? and weigh 195 with a 42? shoulder & 37? waist and needed the XXL which fits perfect with enough room for thin layers underneath. For comparison I wear M or L jerseys, L Arcteryx jackets & medium Patagonia upper layers
