Nicely Done Edelrid
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
The duo-weave of this rope is second to none. Very helpful for someone like me who is color-blind to see the halfway mark easily. Also, I appreciate the thinner diameter of this rope for weight. On a Gri-Gri though, strongly recommend a Freno to help as this rope moves quick.

Best all around rope
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 80m
I?ve used many different ropes with different climbing partners such as Trango, Sterling, Maxim, etc and I always end up buying Edelrid ropes and for good reason. This rope stand out as the best I?ve used so far. It?s light but feels burly enough to inspire confidence that it?ll catch a big whip, it feeds super smooth for lead belay, the bi pattern makes rappelling a breeze, and like all Edelrid ropes it came ready to climb without twisting. Freaking love this cord!
