    Stylie gear storage.

Your ski boots and goggles don’t get along very well when they’re jostling around in the same compartment. Good thing the Dakine Women’s Boot Locker keeps them separate. The bottom section of this gear bag snugly stores your boots, while the top section houses your accessories—goggs, gloves, hat, and helmet.
    • Tarp-lined boot compartment doubles as changing mat to keep socks clean
    • Padded shoulder strap for comfortable carry
    • Top-compartment zipper so you can grab small items without unzipping entire bag

This bag is fantastic. My mother has had this bag for years. I recently bought a second one for myself. It is my go to travel ski bag. I can fit my boots, a helmet, gloves, a ski jacket, 2 pairs of ski pants, several socks, long johns, googles, and still have some room left. It is just big enough to fit everything you need plus some and fit easily in a standardized airplane overhead compartment.

    Great Boot Bag!

I bought this for my best friend for her birthday. Perfect sized bag for carrying all of your ski gear to the mountain and it comes in super cute prints. Separate compartment for boots/wet gear to keep everything else in your bag and your car dry.

Great bag! Stores more than boots!

I love this bag so much I bought two friends one for Christmas! It’s just so convenient, and stylish. It keeps all your gear in one place whether you are taking your boots in a long road trip or on a plane (you can carry this on) . I have room for gloves goggles and socks in there too

My whole gear goes into this bag now :)

Boots, helmet, googles, hat, scarf, gloves, base layers and my arctreryx softshel pants and jacket.. all in one bag! This bag is awesome and it is not too large, I would say it compares to a small duffel bag. The separate compartment for boots is water resistant. I always take my boots in after skiing to dry them with a the Seirus boot dryers and I keep those in the bag too. ha!

So nice I bought it twice

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

My wife was so jealous of mine she bought her own. Bag is just the right size as it can fit all your ski clothes, gear and regular clothing for a weekend trip.

    Groovy bag!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This thing is great! Fits my boots and all of my backcountry/front country gear. Boots, socks, pants, bunch of layers (even a puffy layer), jacket, helmet, goggles, beacon, probe, shovel, snacks, beer, whatever. I can even shove my pack in the top if I need to (some squishing required). The tarp is cool. All around groovy system here, Dakine! I love it, so I bought my dad one for his birthday since he is still dragging around a shredded boot bag from the 80's.

    Fits everything

Bought this for my wife, and first thing I noticed was it was huge. It's well lined, and fits in ski boots, helmet gloves jacket and pants with ease. Only down size is it only has 2 compartments, but otherwise great good looking bag.

    Dakine Bags are Awesome!

This boot locker is amazing. It holds all my wife's snowboard gear, including her helmet, with her boots completely secluded in the bottom of the bag. Also, the boot section on the bottom of the bag is lined in heavy duty tarp, making it wicked durable and also a nice dry place to stand and change. I have owned Dakine bags for over 10 years, and I have never had a problem with any of them at all. Solid company, solid product, and Dakine backs it all up with a limited lifetime warranty. If you're considering Burton or any other bag manufacturer, do yourself a favor and forget about it and just grab a Dakine.

    Huge bag

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had this bag for over 1 year now. It holds all of my gear aside from the board and bindings obviously. This is what I usually pack inside with some room to spare:

    -snowboarding boots

    -snowboarding jacket

    -snowboarding pants

-2 pairs of base layers (tops and bottoms)

-2 pairs of gloves with liners

-googles (2 pairs if friends are in town)

    -2 pairs of snowboarding socks

-sometimes an extra pair of boots (tight squeeze)

This bag will only fit inside of large lockers inside lodges, unless you take out the contents and stuff it in. The only downside with it being so large is that it can be cumbersome to carry. Otherwise great bag.

    Nice features, but falls apart

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

We love the bag and it's features, but the construction is crap. The buckles are all cheap plastic and the shoulder strap mount ripped out after less than 10 trips.

    Stay organized

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Got two of these... The bag is so big it holds both my daughters boots in the bottom and their helmets , pants, gloves and jackets in the top.

Perfect bag to keep everything organized and ready to go when you are bailing out of the house on a Friday night for the weekend skiing.

Great size bag for ski gear

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought this for an 8 female skier. Keeps all her stuff neat and organized seperate pocket for wet boots is essential to keep her gloves pants and helmet dry.

    Versatile and Durable Bag

I've had one of these for over two years now, and just bought one for my wife. These bags are fantastic for extended ski trips. The whole design of the bag works better than anything else I've seen on the market.

The boot storage is huge and can accomodate most boots (I wear a size 13 shoe so my boots are fairly large). The durable and waterproof liner on the inside makes it easy to just toss your boots in at the end of the day without worrying about them getting your other stuff wet.

The gear storage section on top of the boot bay is also quite large, I can typically fit my snow pants, jacket, gloves, toque, goggles, and extra gear inside quite easily and since the bood bay is fairly water proof my stuff stays nice and dry.

I'd highly recommend this bag to just about anyone who asked, stop looking at other ski bags and just grab one of these.

Where has this been my whole life? Great style, great quality and huge storage capacity. Drug this baby through a 60 day season and still looks like new. A great way to keep your stuff organized when you'd rather be shredding than futzing around in the parking lot getting ready.

I didn't expect the bag to be so huge but it is huge. I can fit my gears plus my sister's gears into the bag, which does include both of our boots, pants, jackets, gloves, thermals, etc. It's very convenient especially for travel.

          Great gear bag

Love this bag. Packed my boots, helmet, goggles, ski pants, couple of pair of ski underwear tops and bottoms, socks, and some other accessories I crammed in the bare spots. It was still way under the allowable weight and manageable with the shoulder strap attached if needed. I checked it as it's probably not going to fit in most overheads but you could measure the height and try if it's not crammed full.

This is a great bag! It's bigger than I thought it was going to be so when I first got it I was a little skeptical but as I started packing things into it the size was great to have. For snowboarding it's awesome, I throw all of my stuff in it, boots in the bottom and all of my clothes plus helmet and goggles up top. I travel a lot too and while I'm on the road I put my workout gear (shoes, resistance bands, workout dvd's, sweaty clothes, etc) in the bottom and all of my clean stuff up top. At first, I wish that it had some organizing pockets, but after using it I don't mind their absence. The tarp lining is awesome in case anything explodes and for wet boots in the bottom. Love this bag and super happy I got it. Don't let the size stop you, it's large and in charge when it comes to lugging your gear around.

Great bag! Love the seperate compartment for the boots to keep the rest of my stuff dry. Lots of space in the top compartment- I fit my helemt, pants, jacket, socks, gloves with room for more

Would the bag qualify as a carry on item on the airplane or is it too big?

I just bought one of these for my wife.

The label says that it's 20x15x14.

I measured hers and it is 21" long, 16" wide but the depth can be adjusted depending on how much you fill it.

If you fill it all the way, my wife's would be 13.5" high (depth).

So obviously the claimed dimensions are either off or there is a manufacturing tolerance.

the boot compartment is about 5.5" and the top compartment is about 8", totaling 13.5.

Have people been able to count this as the airline's boot bag? I recently had trouble with a similar bag (not made by a ski company but with a drop bottom) that the airline said wasn't an "approved boot bag". The airline hasn't been able to clarify what that means and says they can make a judgement call.

It probably depends on the airline. Delta has no size limits or description simply that a ski bag and boot bag are considered one bag if the combined weight is less than 50 pounds. I've had very few problems over the past few years wih a simliar bag. I've been overweight and they waited patiently while I transferred some stuff. another time I got someone that started to tell me that it wasn't a "boot bag" and I told her that the Delta website doesn't define what a boot bag is but I consider a helmet necessary ski gear as well that is what the top compartment is for. She quickly dropped the argument. It was as if she had a mental lapse and then came to her senses.

Can this bag really hold ski boots, a helmet, pants, mid layer, and socks? I'm looking for a medium size bag to carry my boots and gear. I have been very unsuccessful however.

There's plenty of room for everything - goggles, helmet, gloves, jacket and pants if need be.

The bag was slightly bigger than i thought but it can be used as a overnight bag for non snow related activities. It can pretty much fit most of your gear in it. It has both a shoulder strap and shorter carry handles as seen in the picture.

Does this have an over the shoulder strap?...

Does this have an over the shoulder strap? Also with the storage compartment for the boots, does it have something to separate them so your ski boots don't clank against each other?

Does this bag have a strap that can slip over the handle of the Dakine Split Large Roller bag so that you can sit it on top of the split bag & not fall off?

Anyone know if this is ok as a carry-on for flights, or if everything holds up ok in checked luggage? I usually carry boots on but thought this may be a little too big. Thanks!
