Nice Upgrade

A little wider and thicker straps when compared with my older version. The padded hardware cover gives a portion of protection against dents and scrapes. The length was enough for two 35” x 4.5” SUPs.

Great product. well spent $$$

I've used it several times

This is my 3rd pair. i like the quality and durability. It holds my boards well. I do recommend rubber band for easy storage of loos ends.

These straps are awesome!!

Use these straps with the Dakine wrap pads on the factory installed crossbars on my 2012 Ford Escape. No complaints. They are really sturdy, tighten and hardly ever loosen (if you're driving all day on the highway, stop every couple of hours just to give an extra pull), and show no wear after hauling 3 longboards at a time all up and down the east coast. I don't think I'd ever buy anything else but these. Totally recommend!

Great Surf Straps

Dakine's Baja straps are super easy to use, durable, and will keep your board sitting securely on your roof/rack. Definitely a great purchase and Dogfunk got these out to me quickly.

how to use the baja strap?

how

its a cam strap so all you have to do is thread the tail into the metal part and it will hold tight. I think it threads between the metal and the pad and than turns 180 and comes through the metal lever back out.
