Love this back
I often take one to three short trips, sometimes for fun, sometimes for work. The Allpa 42L allows me to pack everything I need for an enjoyable trip. It provides quick access to the entire bag while being convenient to carry around with the backpack straps. I am even able to consolidate my laptop and other work necessities safely in the back so I only need to manage one bag on my trips. I am excited to use the bag as part of my packing strategy for a 10 day trip to Europe with my wife in a couple of weeks.

Perfect Bag for Shorter Adventure Trips
I recently purchased the Allpa 42 for a 16 day trip to 4 different countries. The bag was perfect for this journey, and definitely held up to the abuse it received as a checked bag. I really appreciated the option to carry it as a shoulder bag or a backpack, and the fact that it folds open like a suitcase. I look forward to taking it on more adventures!

Pretty great…except the laptop sleeve
It’s mostly great! Was the laptop sleeve/pocket sewn wrong? I have a 13”, 2020 MacBook Pro and the laptop will not fit in the dedicated pocket. The pocket needs to be about 0.5” longer. This is frustrating! Because the Allpa is a backpack, I am not carrying an additional, small backpack for my laptop so I need to rely on the Allpa 42L to protect the computer.

So worth it!
I deliberated this purchase for a long time-- it's not a cheap bag, and there's a lot of options out there! But it came from the recommendation of 2 friends who had also done a lot of globe trotting, and I was convinced. I am so glad I was! It's remarkably high quality, and the design is brilliant! I will never ever ever have a top load bag again, or a routine pile of my stuff that gets moved from the floor to stuffed back in my bag everytime we move. love it.

Excellent product

Backpacker’s dream!
I recently went on a 4 day hiking trip in Hawaii and let me say, I am so glad I chose this backpack. The separating pockets on the inside made it so much easier to find specific items, especially while staying in a hostel and trying to find your items in the dark during quiet hours. I loved the durability of the outer shell and how it protected my items. The outer pocket was great for keeping a beach towel, my sunglasses and my wallet in. I used it as a carryon on the plane and had no trouble fitting it in the overhead bins.

Amazing travel bag
I bought this for a trip to Thailand. So far I've used it on every domestic trip I've taken and it's perfect. It fits under the seat on Delta, united and southwest. It packs down. There's a ton of zipper pockets to separate things out. There's so many different ways to wear it. Best pack I've ever used.
