Puckered seams and a lot of bulk in the pockets
These shirts are very cheaply made. The seams are puckered, especially the pocket seams. But all have some pucker. You can see it in the product photos on the Columbia site. The sleeves fall down constantly, no matter how I roll them up. And worst of all, the pocket area is REALLY bulky. In an attempt to offer pockets, they use this course net fabric so you have three or four layers, in places. It makes for a very bulky shirt. Definitely not a shirt I want to wear in the sun.

A Great Extra Layer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the styling and the lightweight fabric of this shirt. Although I usually wear a medium in other brands, the sizing measurements indicated that I need a large and it fits well everywhere except through the shoulders, which are a bit too wide for me but as an over-shirt, it will be fine. I would have given five stars but for the Velcro, which I removed before washing. While Velcro is a marvelous invention, when it’s used on clothing that will go in the washer and dryer with other items, it’s not a good choice as it can catch on other garments, even if it’s carefully closed. I love the plastic snaps down the front and a smaller version of those would be a better choice in place of the Velcro. One suggestion regarding attaching the tags; please put the plastic hang tag fastener in the seam allowance rather than through the garment itself. Even though the fastener was near the seam, it did leave a tiny hole in the fabric that I will need to stitch. All in all, this is a great shirt and just what I’ve been looking for.

Great sun shirt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect summer shirt and gives a polished appearance. No sweat stains whatsoever it’s so fast drying and prevents sun burns . I love this shirt and also the handy sleeve snaps so I can do the dishes without dirtying the sleeves. Might buy a 2nd one in another color! Sleeves long enough for me (I have long arms)

“Minuet” color doesn’t match (tank + long sleeve)
Heads up: If you’re looking for a set, the color “Minuet” in the PFG long sleeves does not match the color “Minuet” in the PFG tank. The long sleeve is more like a ‘dusty pink’ while the tank is a bright, slightly orchid-ish pink. Fit across the best/armhole area wasn’t great on either the tank or the long sleeves, but hard to describe. Fabric and construction quality is good.

Not the quality I thought I was paying for
Bought one in "Icy Morn" and one in "Safari". I am unhappy with how see through the Icy Morn colored shirt is. The bulky white pockets sewn in the front of the shirt are very apparent through the shirt material, as is whatever you might be wearing underneath. Additionally, the true color of the shirts are also not accurately portrayed in the model pictures in my opinion. Icy Morn is more vibrant/neon than what I was expecting, and the Safari color is a cooler, more subdued tone than in the picture which portrays more of a warm sage. The Safari shirt doesn't have as bad of a problem with being see through, but the bulky shape of the pockets is still clearly apparent through the thin shirt material. As an aside, I wish that "Fossil" was an available color for the women's Tamiami shirt. I would have just ordered 2 in that color if I had the choice.

Not for me
Columbia recommended an XS to me, and it fits perfectly in the stomach, but is too tight across the chest and in the shoulders. I have small breasts but broad shoulders, and I couldn't move my arms without the fabric bunching up or pulling on the chest buttons. Also, as someone who doesn't fish but just wanted a nice outdoor shirt, the fishing extras of this shirt, like the half-sewn, half-velcro Columbia label and the velcro points to secure the collar were just annoying. However, the material is great quality. If it had fit me better I would've kept it and used it for years.

Quality has diminished!
I purchased this shirt previously and I absolutely loved the quality and the design. It was on sale and I was so happy that I ordered 5 shirts. Completely disappointed with the quality of this shirt. The Velcro on the collars would not stick, the material had changed from a silky fabric to an inferior quality of fabric, and the side zippers would not close/open without sticking. It wasn't just a problem on one, but all of them! Needless to say I returned all of them. It's a shame that Columbia has decided on producing an inferior product.
