Beautiful girls' windbreaker/raincoat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for my 8-year-old daughter. It was on-sale and I got it for a great price! I got a similar one for myself (Arcadia II in magenta) and we are both excited to wear them hiking, and to work/school on rainy days. My daughter loved the pretty, bright pink color, although she said she liked mine better (too bad! ha ha). I'd say it runs true-to-size. I got the size Medium for her which is described as equivalent to a kids' size 10/12. My daughter is just out of a size 8 and closer to a 10, so the jacket fit slightly big, as expected. I wanted her to be able to wear it for several years hopefully before outgrowing it. Overall I'm so happy with my purchase and would definitely purchase it again in the future. I can't speak to the water resistance, but it seems like a great material and comfy fit for her, although I noticed the sleeves aren't adjustable with velcro like the adults' is, but that's ok.
