Columbia's Facet Outdry Hiking Shoe is not our grandparent's hiking boot. Rather, Columbia reimagined how lightweight and comfortable a hiking shoe could be, starting with a more running shoe inspired fit. On top, the ballistic textile and knit collar provide a wraparound sock-like fit to the Facet, helping to lessen the chance of discomfort on long hikes, while the sole and heel counter help provide stability across varied terrain.

Great winter Golf shoe
Love this shoe so much that I bought a second pair just to have on hand. Granted they are a little hard to get into, but once in they are like MOLDED to my feet. Walk 18 holes? piece of cake? slop in the mud? rinse them off....with a pressure hose? no problem. They are super comfortable and I hope you'll continue this line into the future!

Stylish Hiking Boot
I LOVE THESE SHOES! Ordered a half size bigger, and they fit great with my hiking socks. Hiked multiple trails with different terrain, including slippery rocks, and had no slips or scares. Walked through several tide pools, and small streams with no water or dampness afterwards. I could go on and on, but I definitely recommend these if you don’t like the traditional hiking boot look!

Please change size up recommendation
Columbia please remove the recommendation of sizing up. I had to purchase and return these shoes three times. Wasted a ton on shipping. I had to size down a whole 1.5 sizes !! However quality is decent they are definitely lightweight. Had no issues getting on like rest of reviews- you just need to have a thin ankle.

Best Shoes Ever!
I wanted these because they look awesome (chunk sole, vaguely futuristic), but I justified the price by reasoning that I live in a city and walk miles a day and they would be comfortable. THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE! The day I got them I walked 5 miles and my feet felt cradled and cushioned, I don’t even know what I was doing with my life before these. The waterproof aspect is great (surprise puddles are no problem anymore). They aren’t narrow and don’t squeeze at all. I am a 6-6.5 and followed the suggested to order larger, and had to return a 6.5 for a 6. Maybe if you wear incredibly thick socks sizing up is a good idea but for regular socks/city use normal size (small end if you’re between like me) is good. Also shout out for awesome customer service.

Fantastic shoe boot
I love these boots!!! I bought them because I needed something to wear this winter when walking my GSD. We walk 4-5 miles a day, everyday on the concrete sidewalks in our neighborhood. I wanted something waterproof, using a strong fabric, warm, light weight and well made. I also wanted a sole built for walking, providing stability, grip in the snow and most of all GREAT impact absorption. I have damage to both knees.These shoe boots are everything I wanted!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Facet 45s.

Very comfortable but not waterproof
I bought these a when the first came out and I really like the look of them and that they were waterproof. Sadly to say they are not waterproof and my feet were wet. I will say that they are very comfortable, but I will go back to my old pair of shoes
