Why We Like The HIFI V2 Stem

While a new stem doesn't always inspire the same delight as a new wheelset, it can still change the way our ride feels for the better. Chromag's HIFI V2 Stem delivers the control and response we need, and it's super lightweight with the right amount of stiffness for precise steering and enhanced ride quality. Its structurally optimized CNC machined aluminum makes for high durability, and the nice rounded surface means we won't get jabbed with any sharp edges should we take a tumble.

Chromag HiFi V2 stem

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I've ridden and raced with this stem for a couple of weeks now and feel confident that this has been enough time to give a reliable review of its performance. First things first, this is a beautiful component; the machining, anodizing, and beveled edges make it truly a piece of cycling sculpture. The rounded edges are to prevent injury should you hit your knee, etc on it, however, it really adds to the looks of this stem. In addition, the all around fit and finish is top notch and really make this part stand out. Installation was easy as expected and, in combination with the Chromag XC bars, the rigidity and precision of the front end has been dramatically improved. I'm so impressed with it, in fact, that it's motivated me to give one of my only product reviews-this stem is definitely worth the money.
