Rub Burn / Cut
Nice summer sandal, but the strap caused a rub burn/cut on one foot. I was breaking them in slowly so frustrated.

Straps Too Long
I love Chacos but as others have said the adjustable straps are way too long so I returned them.

Leashes always way too long.
It would be nice if you could order specific leash lengths, so you wouldn't have to get them cut, or tie them in a knot.

Footbed not the same as original.
The footbed is squishier than my original Z/2's which were probably purchased 2006 or 2007. The firmer footbed feels more stable and more solid, more comfortable on non concrete surfaces. The new pair feels more comfortable when trying on in a store.

Strap design has apparently changed,,,
Sandals are as comfortable as expected from Chaco, but the buckle on previous pairs was higher, sitting almost on top the foot. Now it’s lower on the side, and when tightened down the loose end of the strap drags the ground. My husband has repeatedly adjusted straps but there is no way to get the end not to drag without wrapping it around awkwardly, which then leaves the size tag also visible and flapping. I also miss the little gecko that used to be on the back heel—it added a bit of stability.

Disappointed
Got these as a gift and tried for months to make them work. The toe strap constantly slips and after a few steps is so tight to the point that blood flow is restricted. Tried everything to get it to stop including washing them as Chaco recommended and having chaco repair them. Nothing worked. Disappointing because the footed on its own is comfortable. I'm afraid their other models will also have similar strap slipping. Will be going back to tevas.

Defected product
I was unable to loosen my right sandals. No issues with the left sandals and prior pairs of Z/2's. Already submitted a defect product complaint!

The Black Straps - New Album!
As quality as Chaco gets! Nothing different or special from any of the past sandals I’ve worn. No break-in needed. Ready to wear anywhere you decide.
