Definitely size down if you get this jacket. My husband is a medium in all things but the small in this jacket fits him perfectly.

Great jacket made for Carhartt men

Have bought a number of Carhartt's as my go to for that rugged-look, and as always they are a gem. This one was no different. I'm not a huge guy so this jacket in size small was perfect for my 5'7" athletic figure. Keeps me warm in cold days with a shirt under it only. Not too big, not too small, roomy in all the right places. About 2 weeks in the sleeves are feeling looser, not as stiff as some come. Heavy feel but hey, it makes you feel like a Carhartt man. As good as it gets.

Love this jacket, but why does it come with attachment snaps under the collar, without a hood??

Great coat

I was looking for a coat to wear that was warmer than a hoodie, but not for super cold temps since I already have a coat for that. This looked like a nice coat for 30-40 degree temps. I love it. It looks nice and keeps me warm for the temps I wanted it for. The only issue I had was with the zipper. I've never had a coat with a double zipper before and it took some getting used to before I realized how it worked and used it a few times. Now that I know how it works and have worked it in I don't have any issues. I read that everything runs large and I was debating between a small or medium. I'm 5'8" and about 170. I ordered a medium and it fits fine. It's a little big but not so big that it's just hanging off me.

The fit was perfect. The right amount of pockets for me. So far it seems well made and it's warm. I'm very happy with the cost.

Exactly what I was hoping for a daily casual yet rugged coat!

Purchased as a gift and it was well received. Good earthy brown color and well made. The only problem is there's two zipper pulls and they conflict with one another until you get the hang of using one. Size wise it's a bit large but the extra room is ideal for a fleece hoodie underneath. Warmth wise, suitable for late fall early winter into chilly spring. Old school vibe, great for daily casual and/or daily work.

Good jacket, but some thing could be better

This jacket is a little on the bulky side (very loose fitting), but it's well constructed, warm, and allows well for movement. The heavy duty zipper seems bullet-proof, but it's a little difficult to engage and disengage. I'm hoping it will get easier with some breaking in. I wish the hood (sold separately) came in all the same colors as the jacket. I got the jacket in gravel (grey), but the hood only comes in black, blue, and brown.
