    Foul-weather friends.

The versatility of the Capo Lombardia Roubaix Knee Warmers is hard to overstate. For riding in cold weather, you can team them up with the Capo Pursuit Roubaix Bib Shorts for 3/4 length protection. If a chilly morning becomes a temperate afternoon on a long bike ride, then you can remove and stow them. On days that are trending warm, you can simply pocket them as a contingency plan for any inclement surprises. Whatever the case, they'll be there when you need a little extra protection from the cold.

The Thermo Roubaix fabric used for these warmers lives at the corner of flexibility and insulation, which is why it's the base material featured throughout virtually all of Capo's cold-weather kit. Thermo Roubaix's hollow-core weave increases insulation by creating pockets of trapped air, a design that mimics Merino wool. It also accelerates moisture transfer from the skin to the quick-drying surface of the shorts. The brushed lining presents a soft, lofted fleece to your skin. A touch of silicone and elastic at the hems keeps the warmers up and covering your knees.

The Capo Lombardia Roubaix Knee Warmers are available in two sizes, Small/medium and Large/x-large, in the color Black.

Too much bunching behind the knee

    • Fit: Runs small

The thickness of the material in conjunction with the way its stitched makes it seriously bunch up behind he knee. I walked around with it of a while and I'm returning. Also, the L/XL is pretty tight around the thigh and loose around the ankle.
