Why We Like The Brooks Ghost 16 Shoe
To make asphalt disappear underfoot, we lace into the Brooks Ghost 16 Shoe. This iteration features the ultralight, ultra-soft DNA Loft v3 midsole foam that takes the brunt of every strike without weighting our stride. Brooks shaved even more weight off by updating the outsole's rubber zones with a stronger compound that let them thin it out without sacrificing durability.

Great running shoe
Very comfortable and lightweight just like previous generations. Didn’t even take much to break then in. Great product. Highly recommend.

At my job, I average nine hours a day on my feet The cushioning and support keeps me fresh all day. The toe box is just right for me except for the crease that formed over my big toe while wearing them for the fourth time. The plastic form piece creased and cuts into my toe every time I push off.

Have run in this shoe for all of June 2024 (now June14th). Has been slow in breaking in I would say. Not as comfortable as the Ghost 15 which I have reorderd (a real fine shoe). The cushioning is not what I expected for this shoe ( Ghost 16) and it is stiff and not nearly responsive as the 15. Because the Ghost 15 was such an outstanding shoe, I tried this one. Live an learn..I guess.

Hard surfaces? Get these.
Stupendously comfortable - I have been wearing them for tons and tons of walking on hard, city surfaces (around 6-8km every day), and my feet feel great. I run in them as well - the cushioning is very springy. I feel like I can put the run in my legs and not in my feet/ankles when I wear these.

Brooks has gone downhill
I’ve purchased brooks for about 8 years now (3 pair a year) and after this purchase I don’t know if I will be buying brooks ever again. Less than a month and the bottom of the shoes are completely flat, tread is completely gone, and for the first time in my life, I have plantar fasciitis before of the quick wear on these shoes. I thought it was just me but my wifes brooks are a week older than mine and have the same issues. I don’t know if a new material is being used to manufacture, but neither of us are happy with our recent purchase.

Wide toebox yay!
The best thing is that they brought back my size (7.5 4E) after a year of discontinuation. This shoe has the best wide toebox. Also, I'm glad their keeping the stack at a reasonable height.

Same Shoe Made Better than the Ghost 15
Excellent training shoe. This has been by go to shoe for many years. Brooks was able to made a good improvement in the soul without changing the basics of this shoe. Bood job!

Sending them back
Not a fan of the new design. Too much has changed from the 15. Been running on Ghosts for years, these will be the first I'll be sending back, unfortunately.
