    Ninja Climbing Shoe

Sneak your way to the top of competitions by training and seeking sit-starts on difficult boulder problems in the Boreal Men's Ninja Climbing Shoe. Soft and sensitive, the Ninja thrives on delicate smears, technical slabs, and microscopic edges. Its forefoot rand tensions the Ninja in a moderate downturn for vertical to overhung routes, and the Texon midsole is soft enough for slabby sections. The FS-Quattro rubber sole stays sticky for seasons, and the split leather upper features a rubber toe for solid toe-hooks.

    • Subtly aggressive climbing slipper for boulders and slabby routes
    • Soft sensitivity styled for the utmost technical precision
    • FS Quattro rubber sole gives traction and abrasion-resistance
    • Split leather upper with elastic sides for secure slip-on
    • Item #BRF001Q

    Sizing is an issue but...

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these through Amazon but they came from Backcountry. I ordered them in 12(US)) This is the size of my Garmont Dragontails.

I almost returned them. I could barely push my feet through the elastic opening. Even after using the front loop, rubber didn't seem that sticky. Some other reviewers online have experienced the same. They were unbearably tight. Put them in the closet for several weeks.,

Then, I started to use them just for 30 minutes at a time. They did stretch enough, rubber started to stick. Now, I can wear them for an entire session (less than 2 hours) they are precise and surprsingly stiff in the right places.

Worth the initial pain, I use them constantly.

    Great shoe, runs small

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Awesome show, great for a newer climber aggressive shoe. They run super small (I fit 44 in la sportiva) but I got a 11.5 (US) in these. Originally got a 44 and had to send back and get new ones. Fantastic work with these

    What a shoe

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased the ninjas 3months ago looking for a shoe exclusively for indoor bouldering. 3 months later I actively use this shoe on all of my outdoor projects and generally anytime I go climbing. They fit a little strange out of the box which led me to be hesitant towards them at first, but after a solid 3-4 sessions at the gym they fit like a glove. I must note I mostly climb on limestone in central texas and these bad boys have worked like a dream. From roofs, to face, to even granite slabs my ninjas has done it and crushed it. The only complaint I have that held the shoe from being a 5 star for me is the heel. The heel is probably my least favorite heel I have ever tried. The bulb shape doesn’t make much sense to me, and when hinging on heel hooks that require a lot of pull the slipper has a tendency to start coming off despite how tight the shoe is. Besides the heel though, this shoe is pretty close to perfect and will definitely be in my quiver the next couple seasons!
