My new go-to winter boots. Before I had them, I thought "How could a slip on winter boot provide the support I would need to tromp about in the snow?" After I got them my only thought was how could I got back to any other cumbersome big boot with 27 lace lugs?

I got these as a gift for my step father. He needed some boots to shovel in, and he loves them. My mom is super jealous, and I think I know what she'll be getting for Christmas ;)

Purchased for my husband and he Thanks me everyday! Usually wear sz 8.5, so went with a sz 9 and fit it great with any sock. Live in Northwest Indiana - Lake Michigan area - plenty of weather to test these boots . He likes the pull on style, rubber is perfect for all weather, snow, rain, mud. Likes that they don't have lugs on the bottom that collect all that mess. Says they are very comfortable, hug his foot and keep them warm without being hot. These are for everyday outdoor wear - shoveling, plowing, yard work, and if messy outside they go to dinner or the store. Definitely recommend - they are worth the money.

A great addition
needing something to walk my dogs, or take out the trash on a cold snowy or rainy winter morning, these certainly fit the bill. Easy to slip on , they kept me dry and warm. Also great for an Apres ski option for allowing your feet to recover!

These boots are the best for working at the ranch or out in pasture. If you are working in an area that is usually covered in dirt or mud then you need these boots. They are comfortable, bomb proof, waterproof and warm with those thick neoprene liners. Even if you are looking for a regular rain boot these will fit your needs and more!

I live in MN and needed warm boots to stay outside for extended periods of time during the winter. I've researched insulated boots for a long time and feel I finally found what I was looking for in the Bogs Ultra Mid Boot. Not only are they warm, but also comfortable as they do have good arch support and cushioning. They are also not too heavy/clunky to wear so your legs don't get tired out. I doubt I would wear these on a 10 mile hike through the woods, though. They are not that light -- but still excellent for warm and waterproof boots. I learned about Bogs from my wife, who also owns a pair and she loves them. I was convinced to give them a try, and I am glad I did. My wife wears her Bogs when commuting to downtown Mpls for her corporate job. Dare I say they are even stylish, in a Bogs kind or way. I think it should be noted that I ordered up in size. I typically wear between 10.5 and 11 so I thought 11 would be good. My feet are normal, not too wide or narrow. While the 11's did fit, they were a tad snug as I like to wear wool socks with winter boots. I was worried that perhaps a 12 would be too big, but I was wrong. (These boots don't come in half sizes.) The 12's were PERFECT with enough wiggle room as you never want boots too tight especially during cold weather. They are really easy to slip on and take off. My wife typically wears an 8 and she got a 9 and she's happy with them as well. Based on our experience, I would definitely order a size up, especially if you want to wear thicker socks. Finally, I have to say that the chat feature with the online people from Backcountry was exemplary! They could not have been any kinder or helpful. It was super easy to exchange the 11's for the 12's. It goes without saying that I am big fan of Backcountry and Bogs!

Forget Sorel when you have these. In the winter, these are my feet more than any other footwear. Throw them on in the morning to clean snow off the truck. Wear them to and from the lifts. The handles make these super easy to put on. And, they slide right off.

...And these are the boots for me. Super warm, and easy to slip on and off, so pulling off my snowboard boot and hopping directly into these is great. Also real key for those days you pull up to a parking lot full of fresh snow- keeps my socks and feet warm and dry till the second I switch boots. The non-slip sole is great as well- keeps me from slipping across that icy parking lot as soon as I take a step from my car. They fit pretty well- I normally wear size 8.5 street shoes, and got these in size 9 to accommodate for thicker socks, and they fit well. Maybe just a little big, but with boots like this, it just makes them easier to slip on/off. One thing I have noticed is that the instep of the boots (top part of the foot) is actually pretty tight, especially in comparison to the rest of the boot. So far the biggest complaint? I stepped in doo poo and the non-slip soles grip so well, getting the poo off is just too dang tough!

Great Boots

These boots are incredible, and possibly even magnificent! Super warm, super waterproof, and very comfortable. I wear these around the house instead of slippers because they are THAT comfortable. The sole is great for ice and snow, and it's high enough to get into deep snow without a problem. Word of caution, they are HOT! After 10 minutes of wearing them inside, my feet are boiling. These beat out any Sorel product in my humble but correct opinion. I am a BOGS customer for life. I normally wear a size 12-12.5 and I got the size 13. They fit great.

I got these boots to have a simple slip-on wear to and from the ski resort on cold, snowy days. These boots are the most comfortable I have ever owned. I work nights in resort lodging at my other job and I spend a large amount of time walking through the snow and these have kept my feet warm and dry. I will say these boots seem to run large, as I normally wear a size 10 but needed to get a size 9 in these.

I recently picked up these boots and so far I am really impressed. They are like walking on clouds. Really comfortable and well insulated. Had these out over the weekend while playing in the mountains and they impressed me. Warmth for days. If your looking for a solid slip on boot these are the best to go with.

Love these boots!

I was looking for a pair of "slip on" or "step in" boots, so I chose these. I was worried about the overall support, because there is nothing to tighten the boot, but I was really surprised. You don't even need the handles, because after a few times of using them they stay very wide and open, and you can easily step in with a quick motion...and the same goes for taking them off. They almost suction to your foot when stepping in, and they are really soft and cozy with a great arch support. I was using these in 10? temps in mud and snow and my feet never got cold or anywhere near wet. I'd definitely recommend these boots if you're looking for a non-lace up style. *Note: They run about 1/2 size larger than your normal shoe, so I'd think about sizing down.

I wear a 9.5 and got the 9...and I have wide feet. They fit great with med/thick socks, but with very thin socks feel slightly loose. The 10 size would have been huge.
