Grid 2 Top Deck Rear Rack

When creating the Grid 2 Top Deck Rear Rack, Blackburn essentially took the already simple, bombproof foundation of the Grid 1 Rack, and added an aluminum top deck that acts as a fender and can allow you to mount a trunk-style bag. Made from lightweight yet tough aluminum, this rear rack works with most wheel sizes, fits all disc-brake bikes, and has an easily adjustable height that won't require you to bend or twist anything. All of these features, combined with unreal affordability, make this rack the perfect choice for hardcore commuters.

May have clearance issues with brakes

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Had to do a bit of fungeneering to get the front mounting rods to the predrilled holes on my bike. They DO come with some adel clamps if you want to go that route, but I wanted to use the pre-existing holes. The lack of pivot on the forward rods really restricts how they can mount to the bike. They HAVE to be perpendicular to the rack's frame which are angled down. Other than that mounting gripe, they hold the brand's bags well. Haven't had any fuss on my commutes the last couple months.

Broke

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Bought this product from CC thinking that Blackburn is one of the most reputable brands available. Tail end broke after bike commuting for several months last year. Been looking for a replacement option.
