Thin but Decent
- I've put it through the wringer
- True to size
- Size Bought
- 6` 4"
- 180 lbs
This wool jacket is thin, so thin you can see through the material. Good layer for active ski touring but for lift access, the wind cuts right through it. Thumbs holes are a good feature. Overall it is just an OK layer.

Terrible Quality. Great Otherwise
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- True to size
This jacket arrived with two significant holes in the connection between the hood and the main part. See the included picture. In the pictures, from the outside the holes don't appear to be much, but viewed with backlighting you can see they're actually quite substantial and in person they look like they're going to continue growing until the jacket is garbage. I did some manual patching to try to shore it up for now, but closely looking at the jacket, it seems to me that it will likely not be a long lasting jacket. I would have returned the jacket but I was already back in Switzerland before I noticed : ( At least this Black Diamond quality problem didn't almost kill me like this time: https://www.mountainproject.com/forum/topic/114941648/structural-failure-of-black-diamond-ultralight-camalot-size-04-resulting-in-inju I really want to like these guys but they're making it difficult. Other than that the jacket is great, looks great, fits great, feels great. Perfect middle layer for ski touring since it zips, and looks good around town too. The hood works a bit like a buff when it's not up which I like.
