Very compact but strong. Taller
Very compact but strong. Taller people might find it a bit short but easy and fast to “deploy”

Fantastic!
I've had this shovel for around 3 years, and it works great. It packs down small, fits well in any bag, and is quick to put together. It's a bit small to use as anything but an avvy shovel, but it's fantastic for its intended purpose.

Does the job
Light and relatively easy to lash to the outside of my pack. One callout is the short handle makes for more work (I'm 6'2") but this is an acceptable trade-off for the shovel's size and weight.

Compact little shovel
Love how small and simple this shovel is. Not the smoothest to deploy with the little metal tabs being a little tricky to get out of the way.
