    Daily Pack

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use this pack daily. The main compartment is spacious and is great for packing whatever i need for the day. In addition, the bottom unzips and holds any items that you want to keep separated from your other gear (dirty clothes, shoes, etc). The top compartment is easy to get to and holds my keys, wallet, computer cables, and other items that i want to easily be able to get to. Lastly, i love how easy it is to get my laptop from the bag due to the back compartment which holds your computer separate from the rest of the bag. This is not only great for daily commuting and work, but for traveling as well.

    My go-to pack

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

A good friend of mine helped me pick out this pack and i'm glad that i listened to him. This pack is great for everyday commuting, trips to the gym and weekend getaways. I appreciate several things about this pack. First, i really like the laptop sleeve that is on the back of the pack. This helps for easy access to the laptop. In addition, i typically carry small items and cords in the top pouch that is separated from the rest of the pack. There is a bottom compartment that i typically use for dirty clothes when traveling or coming home from the gym. It's easy to clean out and keeps the rest of my items clean. I was originally hesitant about purchasing the larger option of the bag but am now happy that i pulled the trigger.

    Great Design

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This pack is extremely well engineered to go from work, to gym, to climbing, and everything in-between. It's waterproof and the zippers are sealed, not to mention the separate compartments for dirty shoes and your laptop. I also used it as a carry-on recently for a flight and it worked great. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!

    Well Thought Out Cycling Pack

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I had been shopping around for a new cycling commuting pack to start riding to work and most bags had ALMOST everything I was looking for, but BD has really nailed it. I love that the separate shoe/ stink compartment actually can take up as much or as little volume of the main compartment. It's a soft sided compartment at the bottom which is probably up to 20 liters when it's fully utilized. I can fit my boots into it for my trip into the office and it's large enough to fit my cycling shoes, sweaty base layers, jacket, gloves, beanie, socks, and shorts into it. That way I don't stink up the main compartment where I can keep it clean for my work slacks and blouses. As a short lady it is a little long on my torso but not too long. The waist belt and chest straps are great and the laptop compartment is large enough for my 15" thin Dell . In the laptop compartment there is a hing Velcro separator to I think fit in a tablet as well. It's a completely different compartment than the main area since it runs along your back with the entry zipper on the exterior of the pack. Though it's not hydration compatible, there is what looks to be a bladder sleeve in the main area and I use it to keep my blouse folded nicely or for my U lock. I can fit my thermos of coffee, lunch, change of clothes, toiletry bag, laptop, phone, wallet, keys, and sunglasses and it balances well on my bike into work. It seems pretty durable just like most BD gear and the weatherproofing looks like it should hold up in inclement weather, though I haven't tested it yet. Some people might want a water bottle holder on the exterior, but I find that when I'm cycling I won't ever use them since I have a water bottle cage on my bike so I don't miss them. if you aren't going to use it for cycle commuting and just train/walking commuting then you might miss it. All in all, a super solid commuting pack that might give Timbuk2 a run for their money. Plus it's designed with cycling climbers in mind so you can ride to the local rock gym and fit your lead rope, chalk bag, harness, shoes, and keep them all in the separator compartment so you can still use the pack for work clothes. Since no one seemed to show the compartment it was a gamble on how large the shoe area would be, but it seriously is large since it'll take up space in the main compartment. So in summer months, my loafers will take up little room and in winter my leather boots fit in just fine.
