Very lightweight and breathable

Over the last 2 years, I've been getting more lightweight and breathable long sleeve shirts. After about 15 different shirts, this Black Diamond shirt is the lightest and most breathable shirt I own. The drawback is on me. I'm still not use to the zipper feeling on my chest.

Sun Hoody!
Went on a Missouri hike with snow on the ground in the low 20’s. Wore this over my base layer and it was perfect. Stylish too.

This checks all the boxes!
Full protection from the sun, but still lightweight and breathable, plus odor protection -this has it all. I can wear the hood, and still vent using the zip if I want. Perfect warm weather base layer!

Go to backcountry hoody
I just finished a 9 day backcountry tour and my Alpineglow Pro was with me every step of the way. Smell was not an issue, and I only wore a merino base layer below it for the climbs and i did not overheat. On the descents, I only put a shell overtop and it was ideal.

I LOVE this hoody
My favorite hoody. Fit is just right. Slightly loose and plenty long. I got a large and I'm 6'2" 195lb. It has the perfect combination of warmth and breathability. Running in 30-40deg temps in HUMID Maryland can be unpleasant. This hoody makes it nice. Highly recommend.

Perfect summit day top
Used on some Ecuadorian summit days. Perfect layer while working and protecting from sun. Comfortable, soft, wicking. Very happy with it. Hood fits helmet.
