This shirt is adorable. It fits great! I normally wear a small/xs depending on the shirt. I’m 5’2”, 130 with a muscular/fit build. I got an xs and it’s perfect. I could’ve gone with a small if I wanted a loser fit, but I like the nature of the xs.

Love it!

Got it for my daughter. She loves it and loves the color.

An important basic

A sun hoodie is the piece of clothing I use most year round. It’s very lightweight and breathable but provides appropriate sun protection, especially in the snow at altitude.

Can't recommend enough! Resistant and functional

Easily one of the best clothing pieces I have ever owned. Quality and design is out of this world. Orange color hides dirt/odors and looks nice even after multiple uses. Fabric is light but INCREDIBLY rip resistant and comfortable texture (not techy). I have been using it for field work in the dry forest for 6 months and there is ONE pulled string after walking through dozens of briar patches and running into multiple cactuses. Fit is functional and flattering without unnecessary flare. There is a pocket with zipper!!! I didn't even notice it for 2 months but now I use it for small emergency items (ibuprofen, pocket knife). USB protection works enough that I forget sunburns are a thing. Was out in the sun for 6 hours one day, had a sleeve up for one hour while working in the water and that arm was bright red and peeling the next day while the rest of me was fine.

I’ve had the Alpenglow Hoody in light blue for a couple of years. I purchased 2 more in different colors. It’s really the perfect sun shirt out there. The hood is big enough to go over my climbing helmet and isn’t in the way when it’s down. It sits at hip length and has a loose fit. It’s thin enough in the hot sun to keep me cool, but not so thin that it affects quality.

Love the fit and the color. REALLY like the little pockets. More pockets are better when multi pitch climbing! Will be one of my first pick sun hoodies for the weekend.

Great base layer

Surprised the woman’s is slightly different from the men’s. I bought this for my mom for her to climb in, there’s a pocket on the bottom which I wish mine had. Cool shirt, especially for warmer weather.

Best Sunhoody but…

I love this sun hoody, it is my favorite. Great fit, perfect weight, awesome colors. but BD sizing drives me crazy! I bought this at first in an XS and it was a bit snug and sleeves too short so I got a S and it fit Perfectly. I was so happy I got another color (love that green!) I ordered a size S and it fit like the XS. So frustrating. I have experienced this inconsistency with their Tshirts too. Love BD but I never know what size I am gonna get.
