3/4 ski basket designed to be used on steep terrain without catching or snagging. Integrated hook can manupulate bindings and boots without slowing you down on the skin track. Compatible with BD Index Ferrule to lock basket into place and prevent unwanted rotation (all BD ski poles made after 2019)

Index powder baskets
Great backcountry baskets. They allow a better pole plant when skiing and good support with snowshoes. Paired with BD traverse poles.

3/4 ski pole baskets
These baskets allow me to get in close to my ski boot to release my 22 Design Outlaw X telemark bindings. Before this, the full size powder baskets made it hard to get my skis off of my boots.

What I've been looking for
I've been wanting to change to this style of baskets but haven't found any till now. I did cut down the locking tab since I have the older BD poles. They seem to be very tough since the snow now is very hard and icy.

Love these for bindings and risers
I replaced the standard baskets on my Razor Carbon Pro poles with these. They give me more float, as well as easier access and more visibility when fiddling with my bindings!

Good working basket
Works to to stop kick out on icy hard and wind pack snow for steep and flat striding. Have the old poles so I just cut off the indexing tab, works fine. Using them on collapsible poles so indexing superfluous.
