Great look and fit, poor quality

These are super cute sandals, typical comfortable Birkenstock fit and feel. The black oiled leather is a nice finish. True to size: 39 is a solid 8.5. That said, after having the shoes for only 2 and 1/2 months, the cork bed has split on both shoes between the straps that criss-cross the top of the foot, specifically at the edge where the strap connects with the shoe, from foot bed to the base. I have worn the shoes pretty regularly, about every other day for work, errands, and around the house. I've had several pairs of Birks in the past, but never had this happen. For the quality, these shoes aren't worth the money.

Great Sandal
Love my Birks I have several colors and they are the most comfy shoe. Never had to break them in, They mold to my feet great.
