Well cut, beautiful vest. i bought my usual size 4. It fits well and will have no problem with wearing a sweater, thicker ones too. I am tall, 5'7, with a 34A bust, broad shoulders, back and thin arms. This vest can be unzipped from the bottom up, an added feature which makes sitting comfortable. All zipped up it is snug and toasty.

I own another two of these vests. They are warm and elegant, well made. If you aren’t familiar with Barbour, it’s pretty much standard to size up. I gave this particular vest 4 stars because the burnt clay is a more muted color than I expected.

I love these Barbour vests, they are the highest quality. But I agree with other reviewers that they fit small. Plus I inadvertently ordered a UK size so that was really small. My only other complaint is that the return label was not easy to print, it was too small and I had to fiddle with it to get the right scale.

On the recommendation of other reviews, I ordered one size larger than my usual size. Even over my thickest sweater the vest is still HUGE, and adjusting the snaps to a tighter fit did not help enough. I should have listened to the general Google reviews that said this vest run large (not small, Backcountry reviewers!). Although the style is nice, I’m afraid to reorder in a smaller size in case it is still too big.

Really like the fit and looks of this. Originally purchased in olive, bought a second in brown. I can't wear barbour items with sleeves at all, my shoulders are too big, but the vest seems to work fine.

The Barbour Wray Gilet vest runs small, especially through shoulders and waist. I normally take a sz 6 but had to go up two sizes. This vest looks great, casual yet polished and classy. Perfect for cooler fall and spring days layered on top of a sweater. Can't wait to wear it out!
