Our dog is not large -37 pounds and thought the large would fit loose. The other review says their dog was medium sized, 38 pounds and large fit but barely. it didn't fit at all. sizes are not accurate at all on this page. It did look great and there aren't any other sizes xl or xxl to request an exchange. Disappointed, as we must return and returns cost 7 bucks - no other options. First time customer, this leaves a sour note.

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

We bought this for our pup thinking it would be perfect for moonlight hikes up our local ski mountain. The first time we took him out in it, it immediately started falling apart. The reflective coating was coming off everywhere. Our dog does like to roll in the snow a lot, but so do many other dogs. It was disappointing to see how poor quality a vest specifically geared towards adventure dogs was. Also, if you do decide to purchase this, make sure you check the size chart as it is not intuitive. Our dog is on the smaller end of being a "medium" sized dog (38 lbs with a thin young dog build). The large vest is almost too small for him.
