Whether it's an afternoon trail run or sunrise dog walk, we made the Backcountry Softshell Fleece Lined On The Go Pant to keep us comfortable while getting after it in cool temps. The fleece lining offers cozy comfort when conditions turn cold, while the water-repellent face keeps light precipitation at bay. Double-knit side panels provide extra stretch and improved fit, and wicking tech keeps internal moisture low. The eco-friendly fabric is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified and contains recycled content for minimized environmental impact.

Great winter pants!

I've used these pants for my winter trip, they were able to warm me well but if you are VERY sensitive to the cold I would recommend adding warm leggings underneath. They are dirt-resistant, I got dirty with mud a couple of times and it came off easily! Also, the water-resistant fabric kept me dry on rainy days so no complaints on that as well. :)

I’ve worn these for a few weeks and so far no complaints. I wear them for a hour or two, walking outside/in the woods. The fleece lining is soft and the outside blocks the chill. When it’s ~25-30° I wear them as is but I bought them oversize and wear a base layer under when it’s colder.

Love these pants. Great for winter days with the fleece lining. I hang them dry. Run true to size. I'm 5'8" 138 lbs. Waist 28. Hips 36. Wear a size Medium. The only con is I wish they came in tall length.

I use these pants to primarily walk my dog in the morning as well as hangout around the house. I love them. I find myself wanting to wear these all the time this winter. They are very warm and cozy. I started using them on cold (15°F - 30°F) shorter hikes too and they really hold up and keep me warm. They are the perfect length for me. The only drawback I have found about these is that they will occasionally snag on things and produce a loose thread but overall I'm happy I bought them and will probably order another pair.

I just received these pants and they fit me as expected. This is not the case with many pants. I believe they will be great for a few winter trips I'm planning. I need pants that will be warm enough to walk around town in colder weather and won't let cold air up the legs. The length is about what I expected which is right above the top of my ankle boots.

Would give 5 stars if the length were an inch or two longer! Notice the model in the pic who is 5'10 and wearing tall boots, ya that's because the pants are TOO SHORT. Otherwise these joggers are great- I have run, biked and hiked in them in weather ranging from 18F to 50F degrees. They keep me warm but not sweaty and are super comfortable. For reference I am 5'6, 120 lbs and bought a size S.

I got a pair of these for Christmas '22. I loved them SOO much I got another pair automatically. To continue expanding my perfect cozy winter pant collection, I got the black ones this past November, and Im sad to say I am really disappointed with the quality. The first ones had a thick, well built soft shell fabric. Ive worn them so much and they are holding up so well. The new ones, on the other hand, are made of a thinner material with a striped texture. But the major issue is the seams. They seem to be different and they are falling apart already. Sizing was always a bit off in this model- I am usually a S but sized up to a M because of bigger thighs (when you're into outdoor sports, like probably most here, that's a thing!) And the small's elastic wouldnt get past. But I overlooked that problem and ordered a baggier style because they were perfect. That's hard to overlook now :( I might look into warranty if possible. Please bring the good quality back!!!

I love these pants-they fit my 40-something year-old body perfectly. I'm 5' 9" with long legs and I almost sent these back because even though the trend seems to be ankle pants these days, ankle pants are up the calf on me. And I would prefer pants that fit well for a couple of years over pants that are trendy for this one winter. Otherwise, I love the shell and fleece combo. These pants work on their own down to about 20-25 degrees and below that I would need a larger size to put long johns under. I bought a medium and large and kept the medium.

Too high waisted

These pants are definitely the very high waisted style which I hate. They are very uncomfortable due to this. I know the high waist works really well for some though. Otherwise, the pants would be great.
