Great fit and VERY fast drying

I received these shorts one day before going on a 7 day backpacking trip on the 100 Mile Wilderness (MATC). I purchased two pair just in case, but only ended up wearing one pair the entire trip. I am extremely happy with how these shorts performed. The liner fit and breathed well so I never experienced any chaffing. The first two days of the trip were in the 70s (F) and we were going at a 2 mile/hour pace so I was sweating quite a bit. I also, jumped into a few ponds and rivers on the journey. Still the shorts dried and were comfortable to wear the entire time. I also run and have a home gym and do quite a bit of weight training. I will be wearing these shorts a lot. As far as size, I am not prototypical hiker build, long and lean, like the model. I am more of an athletic build, but fairly average.

My husband didn’t like these shorts. They have a liner which he does not prefer. The waist band is stretchy and black. They didn’t lay right in the groin area but that might have been different after a wash and getting any wrinkles out. He did like the fabric and the length.

Great material for training/running. I’m impartial about the waistband, but it is comfy. Maybe not the best for standalone running shorts.
