Count 360° HD Goggles

Atomic's Men's Count 360° HD Goggles provide an impressively clear view and high-definition snow contrast in all light conditions. The spherical double-lens uses lamination instead of a foam layer for more consistent performance, which prevents fogging and reduces reflections and refractions. The high-definition contrast lens technology uses crystals in the lens to deliver better visibility and contrast in conditions with mixed lighting. Atomic's ultra-thin Live Fit frame sits close against your face for a 20% better field of vision, and the lenses are easy to swap out from the frame for different light conditions or easy replacement. The lens also implements an anti-fog coating to prevent moisture from humid conditions or perspiration from interfering with your vision.

  • Frame-style goggle prioritizes performance for skiers and riders
  • Live-Fit frame eliminates excess material for improved peripheral vision
  • Easy Lens Switch system lets you cater lens choice to the conditions
  • Silicone-coated strap ensures a secure fit as you slash through powder
  • Large fit is generally suited to medium and large face shapes
  • Included microfiber goggles bag eases storage and transportation

Horrible fogging/poor visibility in low light

Everyday I have skied with these goggles the have fogged really badly along the upper portion of the lens and on the worst days all across the lena. These goggles ruined a powder day at my favorite resort as they iced up or had condensation inside the lens all day. The lens color is also very bad in low light conditions, the grey tint makes it almost impossible to see snow texture. I love Atomic products and have used them for four decades but sadly, this is the worst pair goggles (by any manufacturer) I have owned in the last 30 years.

Almost broke bones on side of mountain

These goggles immediately fog up when skiing below freezing temperatures. The fog then ices over. I had thi happen on my first run of the season after spending $200 on these. I have never experienced such bad fogging with ski goggles before and have been skiing since the 90’s (ie using far more dated products). Fogging was so bad I could not see the ground and have now had to shimmy down the mountain multiple times falling and nearly getting hit by other skiers. I need to cancel my next reservation because I simply cannot give these goggles any more mountain time than I already have; they are dangerous and I advise others to avoid them. I also have never written a product review before, good or bad; I don’t care/have time. But this product has really dangerous defects and for once I felt compelled.

Good view. Not yet tested in poor conditions.

Where can I find the replacement lenses? I wanted a different color.

Not suitable for cold conditions

Be aware if you do ski/ride often in shade or in generally cold conditions like in the Nordics. Despite the marketing of excellent fog resistance, the goggles fog up easily in cold conditions. In my experience temperatures of minus 10 degrees centigrade or lower is enough for fogging up the lens. I am quite sure it is due to the design, as when the lenses are laminated together, the inner lens gets fairly cold, which leads to condensation on the lens. Very poor performance for a high end model as they fail in one of the fundamental features good goggles should have. I am pretty dissappointed for my purchace.

Great view. Poor design.

The only positive thing I can say is the view through these is amazing... however, none of that matters. During any storm the bottom vents are complete snow fetches that serve no other purpose other than to get snow on the inside of the goggle which immediately freezes. I have been using these for work and have given them 4 weeks of rigorous (and recreational) use. It’s a good thing I didn’t pay much for them. The retail price of $200 is way overpriced for the functionality. The lenses are also not easy to interchange.

Claim of fog resistance untrue

Frankly I’m very disappointed in this purchase. I ordered these on line and was very excited to use them based on the claim of fog resistance 18 times the “ industry standard” , whatever that means. Well they fogged on my first day using them immrdialty and I realty could not keep them clear. I went back to my old googles and they were much better. I’m wondering if “Outside” actually uses the products they review.
