Even better than I hoped for

I have not hiked in the boot yet, I will update when I’ve put them through the ringer. I’m a true 10.5 when measured, and typically a women's size 11 in most hiking shoes. I ordered the 10.5 and it fits perfectly. I do not have wide feet so the width is true to size as well. I’m built like a linebacker, 5’11” and carrying some extra fluff, and these feel strong. They’re light on foot, and have wonderful grip. A bit more flexible than the Asolo Falcon GV. The ankle cushioning is cozy and unexpected. I really appreciate the description on Backcountry and think they nailed it, these feel like a great mixed terrain option for spring, summer or fall. My plan is to use these for moderate and temperatures and use the Falcons for colder or icier hikes. Not sure about other reviews about laces, I have plenty of length to tie the laces all the way up. I do wonder how the laces will hold up as they are very thin, and the eyes for the laces are not reinforced like the Falcons. Excited to get these on the mountains.

Buy it! It is excellent boot!

This pair of boot has super good track which is the guarantee for slippering prevention, especially on the difficult trail. Another feature good ankle cushion to protect your ankle. The 3rd feature it light weight. Also it has enough room for toes. However, the shoelace is not long enough for 2nd round of tight.
